  1. Last I checked the hurricane was up to 180 MPH, unreal! Estimated storm surge for your area is 12 to 15 feet above ground level. It might be enough to flood your shop. I hope not. You are prepared as well as you can be. Good luck. I am sorely glad I don't live in St. Pete anymore. I am a whopping 56 feet above high tide but we have had the bayou overflow and water came to with in a foot of getting into the house.
