  1. When I checked there are NO state inspections in Florida ( I don't know what MOT is but I assume it is similar to emissions testing). I checked because of all the cars that Ray worked on that the customer did not want the check engine light problem fixed. In Texas the check engine light does not even have to be on to fail. If there is more than one not ready status items it will fail. I found out the hard way - $$.

  2. I just read up on the M.O.T. - that is ridiculous. Big Brother for sure. Hey, while you are at it, remove all the tires from a lorry, run a dye penetrant test on the wheel studs and then properly torque the lug nuts as it is a known issue that impact wrenches over torque the nuts causing wheels to come off, and replace the blinker fluid.
