  1. no. It's design is more for clearing trenches and tree lines with overhead bursts that fire straight down. They do not set off most mines and a small percentage do not explode and become something like a mine themselves. We are sending more mine clearing munitions as well but they are very different things

  8.  @Altrop  yes ...but our officials have admitted that they do not always work as designed and is one reason we have moved on to a different design. The ones we are sending are no longer manufactured and will be very useful for Ukraine regardless..
