Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed on Wednesday that "foreign officials," whom he did not name, have been telling Ankara that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "has to go." Speaking to reporters on his way to Turkey from Algeria, Erdogan stressed that Israel should be pressured to comply with international law and be held accountable for its actions and that the blockade of the Gaza Strip should be ended by the United Nations. He again accused Israel of carrying out "state terror and terror of occupation" as well as alleged crimes against humanity and a "genocide."

The Lebanese military group Hezbollah is allegedly ready to comply with the humanitarian pause within the framework of the agreement between Israel and Hamas, Al Jazeera TV reported on Wednesday, citing the source in the organization. According to the source, "Hezbollah will honor the announced truce if the Israeli occupation forces abide by it." It was earlier reported that the initial release of hostages as part of the deal between the two sides is scheduled for November 23, while the truce will commence on the same day, at 10:00 am local time.

The United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) announced it struck two facilities in Iraq linked to militant groups that allegedly conducted attacks against its troops. "The strikes were in direct response to the attacks against US and Coalition forces by Iran and Iran-backed groups, including the one in Iraq on November 21, which involved use of close-range ballistic missiles," the CENTCOM said on X, formerly known as Twitter. Earlier this month, the US sanctioned Kata'ib Hizballah (KH), a militant organization allegedly linked to Iran, over the group's strikes against Washington's army personnel in Iraq and Syria.

Kremlin: Military relations with Iran are developing Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday declined to comment on the claims made by the White House that Iran could provide ballistic missiles to Russia. "Our relations with Iran are developing, including in the field of military-technical cooperation. But we do not comment on this information," Peskov said. Peskov also hailed the "positive" news on the impending four-day ceasefire in Gaza. He added that Russia has been among a group of countries calling for a truce or humanitarian pauses "because only on the basis of such pauses can certain contours be built for future attempts to achieve a sustainable settlement of this problem."

Iraq-based Kata'ib Hezbollah issued a warning on Wednesday, stating that it will retaliate against the United States airstrikes targeting the Jurf al-Nasr area to the north of Babylon. According to a statement posted on their website, these airstrikes caused eight fatalities within the militia's forces. "The crime of the American bombing of the Hashd al-Shaabi [Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF)] headquarters at dawn today, in which 8 martyrs rose, has not passed and will not go unpunished, and it requires expanding the scope of targets if the enemy continues its criminal approach," the statement reads.
