  7. Man will dominate eventually once the rural areas become as bad as the cities. Man will build until there is nothing left to build on. Thats just the human way unfortunately. The only way to save it would be to get the land protected somehow by the government.

  8. Definitely a good place for a militia to start a small army. You have a wide open perimeter, easy to secure. High positions for sniper cover. You can dig bunkers underground to survive any airstrikes. Its the perfect post apocalyptic starting point.
