Timeline is quality docs so is "Frontline" "Nova" and "'American Experience".If you see any of those terms in the title they will be well produced.

Britain always declares war first and never against a country that actually attacks them , only on countries that attack other countries. Britain was the great policeman of Europe. After ww2 and Britain was bankrupt , they must of ask if Poland was worth it. Especially when our ally Stalin took Poland over anyways. They went to war over anything back then.

WW1 was the last Monarchy war but they fought with machine guns and quick loading Artillery in a war with war of 1812 methods. Just Like today China,Russia and the US building up Armies,Navies and Air Forces even though the Next Big War will not use them like in WW2 and will be over in a afternoon without a winning side. Their mentality can not keep up with the new equipment.

True. The Germans would have beat France and handed back like they did last time, or just like Russia handed back east Europe in 1990. Do people really think Germany would have occupied France forever?

Unlike those days with the invention of Nukes and ICBMs China knows it can never push it's luck to far. One mistake can cause WW3 which would last a afternoon with no winners.
