Europe was almost independent but close down their Coal and Nuclear plants thinking Russian gas is cleaner. In war time clean air takes a back seat.

@fluxcapacitor1621 I hear in Saudi Arabia they sell gas to their people for 50 cents a gallon. Canada has expensive gas and well sell more than we use.

@gkagara Germany uses most of their Russian Natural gas to make steam to generate electricity. Coal makes the same steam ,but it's just much more polluting. So when you hear Germany's Gas supply , it really means Germany's electricity supply.

@amazingsupergirl7125 The US would also not let Canada be invaded , just for the mere fact they do not want or need to figure out new neighbours? It's not that we love you c Canada but more like, that country invading you is not living anywhere close to us.

If Europe can banned Russia war oil by 2;30 pm rather than 2030 would be better. .Europe is a slave to Russian energy by moving away from Coal and Nuclear thinking the world's air is more important.
