Not me. I knew Russia was a bluff. How can a country with a GDP below Canada ,be a conventional military superpower , like the EU, China and the USA? To be a conventional military superpower you have to be a economic superpower as well.

Also Ukraine has large untapped natural gas reserves , I would trust gas supply from Ukraine more than from a dictatorship country .

Ukraine has large untapped gas reserves . Gas from Ukraine will be more reliable than from a dictatorship. Ukraine can't break any deals with the west because Russia will always be at their back ready to ponce.

@thematic3893 I looked it up the main gas regions are not in Russian control.There is a large field in the west also. The west is the largest economy , they helped rebuild Germany they can with Ukraine.

@thematic3893 Look again the main gas /oil is west of Kharkiv, west of Sumy , North west of Donetsk south east of Chernihiv and northeast of Dnipro . Then look up Russian controlled Ukraine. they have nothing Northeast of Donetsk and north of Zaporizhzhia.

@thematic3893 It been 11 months so when does this happen? Will they just retreat again like in Kherson even if they do take it ? That prime main Yuzovsky:Shell,Shale Gas Block is well North East of Donetsk.

Ukraine has been invaded by Putin twice in the last 8 years. I think joining Nato comes well ahead of joining the EU.
