  1. Now you have to buy things you can afford again. I remember the early 1980s when a 10% home mortgage rate was the lowest you can get with some as high as 16%. . The world still lived on.

  2. You only pay interest on credit cards if you do not pay the balance off at the end of the month. I never paid a cent interest to a credit card in 15 years.
