  1. Super stinky fish smell, food crumbs & bits all over 20 year old dated carpet, few wait staff - it was sad to see the decline. Plus grocery stores now carry a wide variety of cheaper farmed sea food/shrimp - some of it precooked & easy to prepare at home. Yes, this was inevitable... (Our local Friendly's closed 2 years ago - they had very nice breakfasts & great coffee. As kids, our parents took us there on Sat evenings for cones. Best ice cream, ever :)
