  1. Sorta like when a favorite elderly actor dies. Your entire life you never knew them, except through media, but you liked their movie roles & public persona. Then the kiddies release their tell-all biographies & you cringe hearing the disturbing excerpts. 😳

  2. Balmoral was one of her most favorite places to be so it made sense she wanted to be there when she died. Yes, it seemed clear she was dying, considering the castle is in Scotland & not England proper; the center of her political life. Admired her commitment to her assigned role, especially as a youth & young woman, but later cringed at her lack of public response to Andrew's growing questionable behavior. It took him finally being publicly outed before she agreed to partly punish him & rescind some of his duty privileges. Albeit not entirely her decision. IDK. What do you do when you're "The Queen!" & your son behaves like an animal? Guess it's complicated. 😑
