  1. No matter how bad things may be, just momentarily, it helps to remember that there are others in worse shape, sadly, struggling too. Making you realize how pretty lucky & blessed you are. This doesn't diminish your problems, it just makes them a little easier to approach & tackle. (eg. Water heater leaking? 💦😖! At least it isn't floating down a river, along with your home. And you're still alive to fix it. Along with the other broken things that happen in life.)
