  2. So, I will give an opinion, but it may prove unpopular. I theorize that these sarcophagus may be a type of human which was carefully preserved to survive the eons in order to be rescued by their peers. If so well either their peers have forgotten them, or no longer exist, or, here’s the unpleasant alternative, they may be on their way to rescue them and we have screwed that up. 🙊
