  1. We are training a lot of young people to enter the care sector. Unfortunately, the poor lambs seem completely unaware of how corrupt the sector has become over the last thirty years. Did you know that some care home groups require the applicant to pay them to complete a DBS check even though they hold one already? It’s a huge scam since only one person - or no person (I’ve heard of that happening) - gets the job. Taking on unskilled foreign workers is just another lucrative ploy.
