  1. Mythology underlies all fantasy, but deliberately warping facts from the source material for fear of ‘cultural appropriation’.... no. Wouldn’t that actually be ‘cultural misappropriation’? Then, literary source material being bent out of shape to meet The Message is another no-no. I like my D&D and my S&S, and Henry Cavill is a treat, but yeah: I wince a lot at Netflix Witcher.
