Don’t knock Carol Danvers - Captain Marvel - because she had a complete backstory, hung out with Wolverine, lost her powers and her memory to Rogue, ended up Binary., made a comeback., had a baby with an extra dimensional hero/villain and... that last one was a bit odd, true. Phyla-Vell was a lot, lot better, too. Kamala was and is an affront to the name Mar-Vell.
