You mistake the core meaning here: you might wish to consider the current insanity where the authoritarian movement is ‘transgenderism’ and women are being ‘cancelled’. I congratulate you on not contracting Covid-19, but many millions did, and all at once. The lockdowns were meant to slow the number of hospital admissions and to permit the recovery/disposal of the dead, and the vaccinations were meant to keep as many as possible out of hospitals and the morgue. No politics here, just a statement of fact.
