  1. Tbh, releasing the CCTV footage is naughty. It’s supposed to be in-house only, and anyone outside the organisation requiring to see it has to apply for permission, stating the reason(s) why it’s needed, even the police. I had assumed that airport services had deemed putting out the footage was in the public interest. After all, the phone footage was carefully curated and did not represent the whole incident, which might well have triggered an unwarranted backlash against airport staff or the police. Oh, wait. Didn’t a mob besiege a cop shop in a completely different city?
