the tunnels were built out of necessity because Israel controls everything that came in and out of Gaza, the purpose of the tunnels is to get semment or cars or cows into Gaza, the tunnels are a necessary route

Israel has taken everything from them and systematically keeps them poor, first Israel steals the land and drives them away to refugee camps and then they turned those refugee camps into a prison and now they turn their prison into a concentration camp with hunger against the population as a weapon of war
