Modi is the PM. Naturally, all successes and failures will be put over his head. He may be on the backfoot but he is NEVER OUT OF THE GAME. It all depends on how he reacts in the face of this extreme pressure.

@harshilshah2389 When has politics ever taken a Pause? Which politician does not do politics? Crowds are a problem now but not during farmer protests? Even western nations went through this. It's about how we come out of this.

Modi will have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get out of this hole. This time it's the middle class who are at the forefront. The middle class is his primary vote bank. Kejriwal's drama checkmated him yesterday. All states will blame the crisis on the centre. Nothing abnormal in politics. However, Modi is not the one to throw his towel after taking a few punches. Granted he took more than a few. He immediately needs to get things under control. Easier said than done.

@harshilshah2389 It makes NO DIFFERENCE. Maharashtra and Delhi had no rallies. Their healthcare systems are among the most advanced in the country. The cases shot up because of the mutant strain. There is also the news of a triple mutant strain doing rounds. The next two weeks are critical. I am pinning my hopes on the Maharashtra lockdown. Cases will be there till God knows what time but it's important to have them limited numbers. Something our healthcare can handle.
