  1. You don't need NEW laws. You just need to strengthen the mechanism of resolution via the current IT Laws specifically DEFAMATION and CYBERBULLYING related laws. We can all agree that Social media is indeed a large repository of fake news and planted stories. The ruling dispensation is happy to look the other way when the content is beneficial to them. However, you can't have it both ways.

  2. @A Nayak Won't solve anything. There are many Independent bodies in India but all have appointments based on their proximity to the ruling party.
