  1. Of course, the Chinese are smart but only upto a point you are smart, the oversmart territory is essentially the idiot realm. From whatever I gather from theprint and other reputed sources, it appears that tables may have turned post the Indian army's ascension to the peaks in the south of Pangong. Clearly, China is raising stakes despite its hand exposed. It's attempts to paint India as the aggressor have flopped and its muted objections to India's infra development in the region (which started this mess) have not deterrred rather invigorated Indians to renew constructions at lightening speed.
