  1. There is a report in Indian Express on Punjab's financial health. The state's tax to GDP ratio is at 46%. TWO-THIRDS of their revenues go toward DEBT SERVICING. The revenue has barely grown in the last two decades.GST compensation will not be given this year onwards. That's a hole of almost 20,000 crores.
