China may be a namesake Communist nation but the CCP is made up of Capitalists. Xi might be high on whatever he is high on but CCP Politburo members would not want to take such big risks. There is no victory in a war against India. Damage across both sides would be severe but the bill would be far more massive for China than India.

@usanna4903 What has literacy, women's education, and the economy got to do with war? Vietnam defeated China and even the US. North Korea too managed to hold off the US. Even the Taliban did not lose its war? A defending nation has its own advantages. If India was marching toward Beijing than it would be suicidal for India but India is not doing that.
