  1. Overly far fetched. Elections in AP and Odisha already happen alongside the Lok Sabha polls and we saw Odia and Telugu voters clearly differentiating the two elections. Also, we had ONOE in the past too and despite being essentially the only major party of the era, INC never clicked 50% of the vote. I'm not convinced that it's bad for the nation. However, I think it will be bad for the ruling party. It will be at a disadvantage because anti-incumbency sentiment from state might spill to center and vice versa. On tbe other hand, pro-incumbency might be hard to transfer.
