Heard of "Social science"? Nevertheless, Indian politics is not so UNIQUE anymore. Now, It has become decisively BIPOLAR with a committed voter base. BJP and INC have firm roots, and power will rotate only between these two parties or alliances led by them. Indian politics has now become fiercely COMPETITIVE. Competition is always good for the consumer.

Nope. For leaders, it is the LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURN. For political parties, it is just a BUSINESS CYCLE. Look at Labour. They are now on a comeback trail. Such a turnaround looked impossible, given the mess created by Jeremy Corbyn. Of course, Conservatives have shot themselves in the foot. The same is true for INC. Rahul, like his UK mentor, is a DISASTER for the party. Also, Erdogan is NOT AT ALL struggling. It's just Western propaganda against him. A 49.5% is nowhere bad given the nature of his highly divisive politics. He should comfortably win in the next round. The 5% vote that Sinan Ogan polled is actually far-right vote. They'll switch to Erdogan.
