India's problem is like the dialogue from the movie Dabang = "Gareebi se darr nahi lagta, Amiri se lagta hai". Anyways, where is the great Canadian "generosity" and "standing up for democracy" that Trudeau keeps talking about? Why is the great CANADA opposing Indian farm produce exports tooth and nail?

@nk7189 Actually. It's not true (at least, not anymore). Yes, it was horrible in the past and was even deemed unfit for human consumption but that is not the case anymore. Indian wheat has already passed the Egyptian quality checks. Expect Lebanon and Middle Eastern countries to follow suit. This "perception" needs to CHANGE, ASAP.

@nk7189 Old stock could be. However, it is not useless. Perhaps they should explore alternatives like using it to make alcohol. I am NOT joking. They used rice to manufacture sanitizers. I don't see any reason why it cannot be done. Even the US is now using ethanol to control its petrol prices. We can probably use it for the same instead of wasting food produce.

Hello, Mr. Shekhar Gupta, please don't "we" us. The great majority of this country is pro-growth. It is unfortunate that the narrative in this country is set by the LEFT cabal and "socialists" but the mentality at an individual level has always been capitalist. Everything from wages to restaurant menus is a testimony to this.

@nk7189 Couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, a private company making and employing thousands, who would, in turn, build houses/buy stuff and create more employment, will upset the whole "ecosystem". Chicken and the egg.
