He plays poker with all his cards open. The praise that he is heaping on China costs him over 3 to 3.5% in interest payment over the market rate. Same case with Saudi Arabia.

But Yes, India-Russia trade stands at $10 billion while the Pakistan-Russia equation does not even touch $1 billion. Even if we consider the China angle, Russia-India trade is heading toward $50 billion in the next 10 years, a sum too large to ignore for Russia.
