As long as the Opposition remains FACELESS, Narendra Modi remains in the pole position. In 2019, BJP vs. Congress was a 40 vs 20% voter contest. This time, the BJP is up against a formidable INDIA alliance that could easily run close to the BJP's 40% vote share. BJP knows it needs a buffer as BJP will be up against a COHESIVE OPPOSITION strategy. BJP knows it cannot afford to get caught off-guard.

@samyakjain3417 That is why I admit that Narendra Modi remains the front-runner for 2024. However, the BJP as a whole is vulnerable. BJP will sweep the Hindi heartland and Karnataka. Maha and WB are difficult to gauge. Last time, the two accounted for almost 60 NDA MPs. It's wise to keep a plan B ready.

@nobody4u77 I am from Maha too. Uddhav's Shiv Sena is FINISHED. In a three-way fight, they could have damaged the BJP, but as part of the Congress alliance, it will be locked in 1 on 1 fights. In such battles, BJP will prevail against Uddhav's Shiv Sena. However, Sharad Pawar's campaigning can damage the BJP in Western Maha and Marathwada.
