  1. If BJP wins Goa, Congress must willfully DISSOLVE ITSELF. It's up against 10 years of anti-incumbency. If they can't beat such battered BJP, then they are NOT AN OPPOSITION. For the sake of democracy, we need a CREDIBLE OPPOSITION and Congress does not seem to be cut out for it.

  2. We are still trapped in the Nehruvian mentality. We have made the people dependent on the state for everything. The collapse of the USSR has already taught us that the state is a woefully inefficient PROVIDER and an even worse DISTRIBUTOR of wealth. There is one thing common to the progress of self-made countries like China, South Korea, Israel, Vietnam (irrespective of their political systems) - They all empowered entrepreneurship. We are still after "Govt jobs".
