truth seeker Here comes another one. All the people so far encountered are Brahmins. The policemen who he killed many of them were Brahmins. Rajdeep Sardesai is also a Saraswat Brahmin and Rahul Gandhi also declared himself Brahmin. The problem is not caste rather our mentality.

Shashvat Kumar So Who is forcing you to praise BJP? It's a free country. Do whatever you like. Everyone is a pragmatic person. If BJP does not deliver on its promises by 2024, it will be thrown out of power and no amount of Nationalism will prevent that from happening. For Congress it is high time they realize that Rahul represents a class that is abhorred by young aspirational Indians who are fed up with nepotism. An average Indian is more qualified than Rahul or his Sister. People won't mind looking beyond the two main parties. UP has 3 different parties in the last 3 terms with absolute majorities.

@saurabhshikharaswal NOPE NOT IN CONTEXT OF RAJDEEP AT LEAST. Everyone knew that Vikas would have been killed. (Provable in court? Perhaps NOT). However, Rajdeep is a sell-out. Do I believe in the theory of Vikas knew a lot? of course but not that he would sing like a canary. He had the patronage of all Parties. Congress has now used his death to open a brahmin front. BJP may even split the state to prevent its vote bank from splitting. SP + BSP have their own games. The solution to UP is quality education and Industrialization. Until then it's the same old same old.

Encounter is neither new nor last nor endemic to UP or a particular party. The partisan media coverage is what brews resentment and hollows the pursuit of justice. My political beliefs are my own and do not hinder my professional integrity. DEMOCRACY NEEDS the 4th estate to step up instead it lets it consistently down. The death of a Killer/Rapist does not bother me with or without due process. If it is RIP DEMOCRACY to you so be it.

@saurabhshikharaswal Finally we can agree on one thing: Media is a Joke (Although I would add Rajdeep, Burkha, Vir Sanghvi, Ravish also to that list). As to questioning the integrity of the CM or others, What's the point? The system is rotten because the people themselves are rotten. The CM has his arguments and his limitations. V P Singh had his family killed when he attempted to take these mafias head-on. Mumbai too had the same problem. It only stopped when post 93 Mumbai Police undertook a massive manhunt and killed several goons and forced the remaining to flee. Here, Judiciary played no role.
