  1. The "moderate", "secular" and "liberal" space is already overcrowded while "greens" don't count for much politically. The rank and file of the party built its rapport by being a vehement opposition to NCP and INC. You don't change over 50 years of rivalry within 30 months of Govt. Irrespective of the fate of the alliance, the fate of Shiv Sena seems bleak. Shinde is the king of Thane. Deepak Kesarkar does not need a party tag. Others are similarly quite powerful while Uddhav was simply a "figure" head.

  2.  @moderatortoerrishuman1222  It's politics. Backstabbing is an occupational hazard. Opportunism defines politics. The only thing of consequence is the numbers.
