  1. Shankar Animesh had even hailed dalit Charanjeet Channi's ascension as Punjab CM as a "masterstroke" by Congress. In the elections Mann proved to be the "master" and Congress got the "stroke". Don't count your chickens before they hatch. People dont fall for gimmicks anymore. Recruitment at state-level is corruption-ridden. Govt jobs dont come "cheap".

  2. These "pundits" are on a different tanget altogether. A recent viral news story from Bihar is about Bihar sarkar constructing road for a village that never had road access, but as soon as road material was laid villagers came in hordes to steal the material. Bihar's socio economic conditions wont change with Govt jobs because none exist. It can only change through industrialization which needs better governance.
