  1. Actually, if anything more is needed. People in the developing countries often pass the buck to politicians and sit idle which is actually ducking responsibility. All of us breathe the same air. A greater community engagement is the only way out. Issues can't be forced on leaders rather issues should produce leaders. Delhi is a living example of this principle in action (2014-Kejriwal). Alas, most Indians rank at the bottom of Maslow's hierarchy of needs and pollution is an "elite" concern.

  3. It's high time that someone should break it to the "woke crowd" that "wokeness" cannot be restricted to Twitter, FB, comfy cushions, and ACs. It is similar to the COP26. Giving up luxuries for some time would go a long way to curb pollution than seasonal outbursts on firecrackers

  4.  @nachiket9981  And who do you think is cleaning the Ganga? Almost 11500 crores were spent to clean Ganga. The sewage treatment capacity of 1862 million liters per day is already installed. Of course, it ain't enough but way more than "wokes" ever did.
