Personally, I think Fadnavis has a better chance than Yogi to emerge as BJP's numero uno in the post-Modi era. India never had a Marathi PM so far. Fadnavis has a lot to learn. The cost of crossing Pawar is a steep penance. Fadnavis may be down, but he is undoubtedly not OUT. Also, BJP's 40% vote bank battery is powered by OBC. Fadnavis will have to deliver Maha in 2024 to stake claim to CMship.

@rajarshisom122 Yes. Only HBS has proven political maneuvering skills and mass appeal. His non-BJP and non-RSS roots won't matter if he can win Assam again. In fact, all 3 will have to win Assembly elections before they can march toward Delhi. The trio's biggest challenge is their caste conundrum. All 3 are upper castes. They'll have to break caste barriers and build niche and admiration for themselves among BJP's OBC voters. That will be the key to staking claim to BJP national leadership.

@Sachin-vr4ms At the moment, there is too much reshaping and realignment that is happening in Maha politics. Congress seems to be finished. Shiv Sainiks are in a fix. Also, there is so much that hinges on the Pawar factor. I think post-BMC elections will have some clarity. If Thackerays lose the BMC, then BJP will vacuum-clean Shiv Sena, and Pawar will vacuum-clean the INC.
