As long as the Gandhis continue ruining the Congress, Modi's throne is SAFE. More than Rane, it is the elevation of Dr. Bharti Pawar that is significant. She is an eloquent speaker and will be under media scanner along with Mandaviya in the most CHALLENGING HEALTH MINISTRY. The two also have the best opportunity to leapfrog many times in the BJP. Also, Northern Maha, once an INC fortress, has 35 seats. BJP has the best methods to identify fertile terrains.

Rane is no saint but has held Revenue and Industry portfolios in the Maharashtra cabinet. We in Maha know that he is a weasel but also acknowledge that he can get things moving. MSME is a critical ministry and Rane in many ways can deliver results (not necessarily by kosher methods). As to Gadkari, he is indispensable. He deserves to be our PM (also BJP's trump card in case Modi falters or INC dumps the Gandhis). I wish to see Gadkari elevated but his current ministry is equally important for pushing growth.

@arunsar7893 Your problem is that you see Jaati and the community as separate from individuals. Everywhere in the world, the same principle applies. Identity is a part of who you are unless you live in a completely homogenous society. Caste identity is not necessarily a bad thing. It is the merit that commands respect. Problems occur when identically qualified Fwd, OBC, and Dalit are treated differently.

@arunsar7893 Then don't assume stuff about "Indians" either. It's a public platform. Nobody's "Gyan" counts only the fact that everyone has a different pov.
