Looks like "Yatras" have become the flavor of the season. It signals a lack of imagination. Jagan's yatra was successful because he had a strong connect with the masses which was further amplified thanks to Naidu's disconnect due to his Delhi ambitions. Kejriwal, Modi, Nitish, and Mamata play to their STRENGTHS and do not imitate. They are trendsetters. People will never choose DUPLICATE copies over ORIGINALS (at least, not when the cost of a duplicate is more than the original).
