Firstly, President Murmu is NOT a Dalit. She is a tribal. Your incomplete knowledge of the matter shows how much you really care about Dalits or the social issues of the country. Also, stop spreading fake news. You conveniently excluded that Madame President was doing puja of the deity. Doing puja of the deity is a high honor. However, nobody, not even the king, is allowed entry into the Garbhagriha unless proper rituals are followed (it is not exclusive to Brahmins, but usually only priests would be allowed). Garbagriha is the location of the statue of the temple's primary deity. It was NOT a DISCRIMINATORY act.

Fake Information. I bet you haven't read any of the scriptures. Varnas and castes are extensions of "karmas". Lord Krishna clearly mentions that all humans are born equal. Hinduism has always accorded importance to Karma and Dharma. Untouchability resulted from corrupted thinking, not Hindu theology.

@Akash-z Provide the source where the PM called her a Dalit. Also, not even a Brahmin is allowed inside the "Garbagriha". Only the temple priests are allowed. This is not hypocrisy, just rituals. The priest is decided by the temple administration. Often, priests are from the highest Brahmin orders because of their knowledge of the Vedas and texts. I fully endorse that the system should be made meritorious. As it is, Brahmins are giving up priestly duties.

@Akash-z You are the one mixing words: Tribal and Dalits. If it's so prevalent, then provide the source where the PM called President Murmu a Dalit. You are the one engaging in fake propaganda. President Murmu went on to do Puja in the temple. That's a high honor. Entry into the "Garbagraha" has many conditions attached to it. If she wanted, she could have done all the rituals and entered. You are making wayward statements, and all you have is "trust me, bro" for evidence. I am myself a Non-Brahmin and Non-upper caste, and I am proud of my religion and thankful to my Gods. Udayanidhi's statement was abhorrent and should be judged on the same yardstick as used for other religions in India.

@Akash-z Your narrow view of things and incomplete knowledge is laughable. The Guru Gorakhnath temple in UP has Kamal Nath, a Dalit, as its head priest. There are many more such examples in MP, Maha, Guj, and Raj. The VHP is readying Dalit priests for Ram Mandir's inauguration. In the current scenario, most of the country is run by OBCs. Only Uttarakhand has a Brahmin population of any significance, but even there, the ruling elites are Rajputs. The most Dalit state of India is Punjab, where Jats (OBCs) have traditionally held power. I am well aware that several wrongs have transpired over the last millennia in my Sanatan Dharma. But we do not need Jesus or others to guide us. Brahmins are of no significance today. Your hate for them is appalling. It has the same markers as that of Hitler's view of Jews. Hindu Gods are perfectly fine and hold all of us equal. They will judge only our "Karmas" and our commitment to our Dharmas. Hinduism does not need re-imagination. It only needs the propagation of truth. The true philosophy of Hinduism was buried by Hindu elites (who corrupted it for their own benefit) and Islamists and Britishers who used the fissures effectively to keep us slaves. @saptarsi7868 Please do NOT feed his delusional cocktail of lies. As I mentioned earlier, Dalit priests are plenty. Gorakhpur temple is just one example. Newer temples have priests from all castes. Temple administrators appoint caretakers. Strictly speaking, they are not "priests" like the ones learned in Vedas, but sometimes "devotion" is the only merit that matters. Hinduism is rich, inclusive, and contrary to popular belief, the great religion has a well-defined structure. Unlike Christianity and other Abrahamic religions, Hinduism actually promotes the pursuit of knowledge. It holds that "knowledge" is the pathway to the creator. The 4 varnas are a hierarchy indicating the state of mind and not a family of birth. It is important that we accept that somewhere down the line, our sacred religion got corrupted. It is essentially that we stop defending the indefensible. Bhagwad Gita is the ultimate authority on our religion. It only discusses "Karma" and "Dharma". We must discard the notion of "hierarchies" among castes. Select pages of texts advocating nonsense like this must also be dismissed. A non-veg eater cannot be called a Brahmin just for bearing a "Trivedi" or "Chaturvedi" surname. How many of these can actually recite even 1/4th of a Veda to deserve such prestigious surnames? We need reforms, and we need them fast. AP, TN, and Punjab are already hotbeds for evangelists. Maha and Telangana are also witnessing the menace of conversion. If it gains a foothold in North India, our civilization will be lost like the Mayans. Don't give an inch to fake news peddlers and propagandists. Don't let them use our religion against us.

@saptarsi7868 I fully agree with you. Hindu religion is pure. However, I do think there are casteist Hindus. They are as much of a threat as Lefto-propagandists and Christian missionaries. We must admit their presence and discard their views. I am saying this because I have seen casteism. There have been incidents of general category students harassing reseved category students. I am no fan of the reservation system but I find vitriolic verbal and mental abuse of lower category students deeply disturbing. The govt policy is not their fault. They must be treated with respect. These kind of impressions often fuel long term prejudices. Dalits then become easy brainwashing targets for the LEFT. Udayanidhi Stalin was not misquoted. His statement was an accidental window into his mind. DMK wants the eradication of Hindu Dharma. It is vote bank politics at its finest. DMK and YSRCP patronizes Christian missionaries who in turn gather votes for them. This is what we are up against. The enemy is already moving and we cannot be wasting time over finer nuances. Brahmins are weak as they don't wield power anymore. They are easy targets for people like the above. OBCs need to take the lead in protecting the Hindu religion. Dalits should be encouraged to take up upper positions in the Hindu fold.

A large number of atrocities against lower castes was committed by Nairs, Chettiars and Nadars in Kerala and TN. Today, it is the Vanniyars who are leading the honor killings. Brahmins are nowhere involved. You are invoking hate against Brahmins simply because you can.

@Akash-z The Channar revolt, the 1978 Villupuram atrocities had Non-Brahmin perpetrators. There are many such examples. The "invader" theory is again fake. It is well documented that Migration into India happened in four waves thousands of years ago. None of us are "aboriginal". The Aryan-Dravidian division is just a false myth. All of us share the same DNA markers. None are original. You are just a bigot. A Brahmin and a Hindu hating bigot. In the entire conversation, you couldn't share one shred of evidence. All you poured was venom. You have been brainwashed probably by missionaries. Brahmins have committed many sins but all those things died with the past. It's pointless to dwell over the past.
