  1. Manusmriti is a "smriti". It is a text written by humans. It is neither sacred nor the law nor does it define Hinduism. On the other hand, Bhagwad Gita is a "shruti" text. It is the word of God. It is sacred and in many ways defines Hinduism.

  2. One can always look the other way and ignore the blatant display of HYPOCRISY by the LEFT. However, HOLIER THAN THOU flaunts is where the LEFT congregation loses its convictions and credibility. The Hijab row is the latest example of the LEFT shooting itself in the foot. In India, it has NEVER been a battle between Seculars and Communals. It is a battle between MODERATES and EXTREMISTS with the LEFT aligning itself with the latter.
