  1. I do not understand the logic of counting Pilot camp into BJP? They cannot vote for the BJP or more importantly count against Congress. They'll be disqualified and barred from contesting for 6 years. If they resign the strength of the house reduces to 180. While Gehlot's numbers are a mystery but BJP's numbers are only 72+3+ (Say generous 5) = 80. They are still 11 short of MAJORITY. I strongly suspect this might be a game fixed by both the parties to oust Pilot. (Collusion is not uncommon in our politics. Despite the pre-election rhetoric, Our Political parties maintain honor among thieves and never arrest each other's MPs/MLAs)

  2. Gehlot is SAFE. Pilot is either buying time for a sweet deal with the Gandhis or avoiding being left alone by his MPs. Does not look like BJP has any intentions to take Gehlot down. They are only fueling the fire because there seems to be no stealth on their part.
