  1. Two things stand out, 1) Jhakar assessment that Channi went overboard with personality building exercise is spot on. Channi has a tenure of only 111 days. This is not enough time to build a brand (despite, the "Dalit" advantage"). He also tried to do too many things at the same time. Contrast this with Modi and Kejriwal, both very successful brands but were built in stages after accumulating Goodwill over the years. Instead, Channi came of FAKE. 2) Role of Ambika Sonu -> Hindus are 40% in Punjab and were the loyal supporters of Congress. She shot the Congress in its knees.
