  1. TRUE. Apart from PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi no other leaders are able to gather votes for the BJP. Despite the drum beating and media show the Congress candidate did NOT even save his deposit in the Telangana assembly by-poll where BJP finished a close second. BJP needs to empower and create more Fadnavis, HBS, and Yogi else it will end up like Congress.

  2.  @ankitsingh3155  Gadkari and Jaishankar are excellent backroom managers but not mass leaders. Also, BJP needs an OBC leader to carry forward Modi's legacy. In that sense even Fadnavis, HBS and Yogi do not fit the bill.

  3. A third Gujarati in the ruling BJP dispensation? I know Patil is Marathi by birth and nothing is impossible in MoShah regime. Perhaps, a younger leader would be more beneficial for the party.
