You do realize, Sarbananda Sonowal has been the CM all this while. He just resigned today.

@Aditya-vb8sm Ignore him. His job is to spread propaganda. They are the same ones flooding Twitter and Facebook with the memories of the good old days of Congress when Nehru was building hospitals 24x7 and helping the US send a man to the moon.

With Himanta's appointment, they have broken it. This is the first time after 2014, they managed to appoint a popular self-made leader as CM instead of High command loyal.

@parvadhami980 Which time? Sonowal himself was an outsider. Both HBS and Sonowal worked their way up to get the coveted prize.

@abhina0101 They have 75 MLAs with them, if they want they can make Amitabh Bachchan the CM. Everyone knows the reason why HBS has been made the CM but some people have propaganda on their mind 24x7.
