  2. One reason for the people not following this war is the dull and one-sided commentary. Russia remains a greatly admired nation by many across the world. Even Khomeini became an overnight star in the Iran-Iraq war when the Americans actually supported Saddam Hussein to take on Iran. It's amazing how quickly we forget our history.
