@mg.f.9023 Rahul Gandhi has a r*pe case against him. It even went to trial. Rahul was neither suspended nor rebuked during the period. Even Srinivas BV has harassment charges leveled against him. What has INC done?

@quenky1 There is no blame game. It is about debunking the hollow moral high ground and virtue signalling. The separating point between the two parties is Narendra Modi. He delivered on BJP's major promises. He has earned our vote. The ones who were never onboard on the Ram temple and 370 promises are free not to vote for him.

@quenky1 Firstly, my response was to another comment who brought up Brij Bhushan Sharan. I merely pointed out the Congress set precedent. Secondly, you are free to factor all your points and grievances in your voting considerations. I have made up my mind based on my assessment. Moreover, I don't see any interesting ideas from the INC, the only realistic challenger to the BJP. They can keep stocking their Mohabbat ki dukaan with "Sickular fabric". Let me know once they pitch "economic fabric".

What qualifications do Lutyens bald old eagles possess to lecture us on nation building? Muslims always vote on religious identity. The riot peddlers from Mira Road were calling themselves "sleeping lions". Indira Gandhi used to get a 350+ majority at a time when INC was the dominant force in every nook and corner of India. He tenure was called the "Hindu rate of growth". We are happy with "Hindutva rate of growth".

@quenky1 At least for this cycle, for me Ram temple trumps all. That said, I agree that the BJP does need to up its game substantially. There is a 2029 after 2024. We need to see s visible difference in our lives and the society at large.

@quenky1 Thank you for a respectful engagement. It appears we agree on many things, but being able to communicate disagreements in a highly pointed and respectful fashion is rare these days. More than us, it is the main opposition, aka the INC, that needs to pick up the issues that you mentioned. They had their chance, and I would acknowledge that they did or tried to do many good things to varying degrees of success. However, the current INC seems to be focused only on Rahul Gandhi's graph. It is likely that even if defeated, he'll lead them into 2029. Perhaps he'll click, but I have my doubts. Regional leaders are also focused only on their families. Even the highly respected Naveen Patnaik has not made a "herculean" impact on Odia life. BJP, to me, is the least worst among all available options. I do not want my political choices to be such.
