  1. Don't you think that's the complaint with every sector and area be it defense, health, education, agriculture? Truth be told we are running on a deficit for the past several years. Nothing wrong with a deficit but a $400 billion budget isn't enough. We need to enlarge the pie so that everyone can get a better share. More importantly, we need to do away with INEFFICIENT GOVT PRACTICES like some of the perpetual LOSS MAKING PSUs and old several old systems and legacies of license and British raj. Alas, some things LIKE AGRICULTURE in India can NEVER BE MADE EFFICIENT because people themselves DO NOT WANT IT TO HAPPEN. Evident for farm laws
