  1. Caste census is not the magical hard 6 that anti-BJP pundits are hoping for it to be. Firstly, Hindutva politics has changes. It is being led by OBCs who have largely shifted to the Saffron brigade. Second, Caste is a diluting force. The fierce loyalty that its once commanded is slowly eroding. BJP has nothing to fear from a Caste census. It's led by an OBC, while INC is led by a "Janeudhar Brahmin". This is firmly the era of OBCs. With or without caste census, it's difficult for a Non-OBC to emerge as the next PM from BJP.

  3. Why mudsling Bihar? It would be more accurate to suggest that what Nitish-Lalu-Rahul thinks today, India used to think a decade earlier. Narendra Modi can be countered only by a MASS LEADER. These cheap parlor tricks won't help. These are old LEFTIST ideas that are way past their shelf life. None of the Hindu subcastes rally behind the INC anymore. It will only create more confusion in their remaining Hindu vote bank. In MP, Upper castes generally vote for INC. Congress won't be able to create buffer zones. It is overestimating its organizational reach.
