Comments by "Sankalp" (@sankalp6872) on "Maldives President Muizzu in China, ‘India Out’ sentiment, Lakshadweep vs Maldives" video.
If understood correctly, even propaganda can be a source of information. Global Times is the best. It takes a special talent to convey genuine "information" with "disinformation." Maldivian Ministers made comments against India. The Indian outrage is perfectly justified and within the charter of FREE TRADE. Generally, "Boycott" is a dangerous weapon but the Maldives Govt started it with its wish of "India out".

Geopolitics is a slippery slope of upper hand and lower hand. Qatar commuted death sentences of convicted Indians, prioritizing ties with India; the Maldives is bending over backward to win over India; the UK is in the process of signing an FTA with us; the US exempted India from CAATSA. Of course, India is NOT a superpower, but it is a 1.4 billion people market that nobody wants to UPSET.

You are ill-informed. Girija Prasad Koirala had called India a dog that barks but never bites. J R Jayawardene called us "Hitlerian". Khaleda Zia is famously anti-India and anti-Hindu. There are many other insults that can't even be shared on a public platform. However, the absence of social media and India's weak financial weight allowed these countries to get away without consequences. Also, UPA 2 of 2009-2014 was amongst the weakest ever on all fronts, acknowledged as such by functionaries within that Govt. Finally, this fiasco was triggered by Maldivian Govt Ministers. It was unprovoked. The reaction and boycott trend on X was entirely voluntary. People have the choice to boycott countries whose ministers call them "unclean". The Govt has maintained a dignified silence. PS: You can continue hating Modi. It's your freedom of choice. However, your Lies and Misinterpretations are suited for echo chambers. In public forums, they will be called out. End of thread. We need not continue the discussion further.

@libshastra Do you seriously want more Ms for this country? Please think before you wish for something. I think our geography is enough. I just want rapid economic progress.

@libshastra The strategic benefits of these islands are highly exaggerated. Despite the overhyped allure, these islands are no launchpad for a war. A group of small islands poses a concentration risk. China would be foolish to invade India from these islands or even use them for any show of strength (say submarines/fleet etc). The possibility of a future Indo-China war itself is NONSENSE. Battles of upmanship will happen every few years, but India-China will manage to quiet things. These islands can, at best, be used for surveillance and communication interception, which I am pretty sure China is already doing by many other means. Most importantly, a re-united "Hindu Rashtra" or any miniature version of it is a pipe dream. It is not practically possible. Nobody in the world will endorse such a move, and it will impact us negatively.

@BharatThatIsIndia You cannot speak on behalf of "we". You can only speak on your behalf. That's the whole point. If people want to boycott, that is their choice. They don't need some Vishal Shekhar Yadav's certificate, nor does your outrage at people require my approval. I never called you out for your opinion. Just your flimsy "factoids".

@nileshchaudhary_ Jane nahi dena chahiye. It is important to burst the bubbles of these Know-it-alls and wannabe Yogendra Yadavs. I can respect disagreements, but virtue signaling from a bunch of nobodies should not be allowed to go unchecked. Not endorsing somebody's view doesn't make anyone a lesser human.
