"Many of them are run for other reasons" SG taking a dig at Arnab Goswami. It also applies to NDTV.

@normalhuman6581 Abey yaar, Such goof ups are common across the board. Rahul didn't earn the nickname "Pappu" overnight. He earned it. Modi is India's elected PM. We need better leaders. Rahul is dumb so until a better comes along it is Mr. Modi.

@amitmudgal4671 Nope, bias is bias and it is perfectly acceptable. It is the hypocrisy of mainstream media that has caused a loss of credibility.

Arun Sar India has a fair degree of Literacy already but Casteism and Xenophobia is unlikely to go away at least anytime soon. By elected I meant by the will of the people. Nobody is stopping you from criticizing him. Anyways those who are above caste, creed, and religion already know that BJP and Congress are to sides of the same coin and the Rahul Gandhi side is firmly rejected. Even Kejriwal turned out to be a fraud.

Arun Sar Politics all over the world is the same. No matter what you do you can't please all. Kejriwal's silence post-Delhi riots is a testimony to that. Delhi riot itself was staged for political reasons. Are we really so blind that we couldn't notice the obvious "co-incidence" that the riots happened exactly during Trump's visit when literally the world had its eyes set on India? All electoral victories in the democratic world are at best 50-55% vote. Even post-Indira assassination, INC manages only 49% votes meaning 51% preferred for them not to be in power. Modi's peak was 40%. For a change, one can opt for Kejriwal and I sincerely hope AAP replaces Congress. But don't expect too much from him.

Honestly, I prefer online content over any of those shrill debates and left/right bias. At least many of those pathetic news channels and bad media will die out. Imagine Ravish and Company asking Modi for a media stimulus package. Of course, he has already given it to Arnab. Comrade Rajdeep is a curious case hiding in saffron India Today. I guess Rajdeep is just an old fashioned Capitalist after all (and perhaps because Sagarika is Unemployed). The Dutts and the Sanghvis are in search of a full-time job since 2014 when Congress lost power. The Razdans have zero credibility. Outlets like the Wire are too anti-national and the Hindi News Media is held hostage by Mota Bhai. So don't mind paying for good content as long as there is enough balance. The Truth always triumphs. Don't make Rahul Gandhi a hero when he is not and don't discredit Modi when he deserves credit. Go after people like Amit Shah, Mamta, and Sharad Pawar. SG is good in this show but DK covers politics better. He is more informed, objective, and not biased in an obvious way giving at least a fair chance to all parties.

@DT-eg4ip I agree. SG is biased in his political coverage but elsewhere he is good. DK does political coverage better. The print overall has some authors with very strong opinions but some are soft and more nuanced. It does not have a Left/Right organizational culture so there is a fair degree of diversity.
