  1. West's strategy to control/contain a brawl is LAUGHABLE. They are clueless. The sanctions should have progressed in a stepwise manner instead diplomacy got overshadowed by domestic politics. The optics of acting "tough" has cost several lives already. I think this is perhaps Putin's only miscalculation. He probably thought that the west would be "smart" instead it has given him the GO signal.
